Why Isacord Polyester Threads are so advantageous in embroidery

Isacord Polyester Threads
Isacord Polyester Threads
  • Manufacturing techniques used with this thread provide it with just the right measure of twist in order not to cause problems while unreeling.
  • Its color is stable to most potent elements (chlorine, light) and can be easily traced to the dye origin. This, in its turn guarantees the quality of the thread strength (rayon threads have half the strength of Isacord threads). All hues match, without deviation from stated norms.
  • Its application is flawless due to patented procedure of fabrication. Scuffing of the threads is minimal, ensuring long lifespan of the embroidery. During embroidery work, these threads are resilient to tear due to the careful calculations of elastic components of the material it is made of. Alteration of tension levels for different hues is redundant.
  • Even the form of the cone is well thought through so that to stay put on the spool at all times.
  • Isacord can be used by all types of sewing machines (commercial and non-commercial).
  • During the use of the embroidered item, done with the use of Isacord threads, some things should be remembered. Only lightly wet embroidery could be ironed. Never apply direct heat on the face side of the design. The level of the heat during ironing should be low. Direct sunlight (as in all things) eats on the color to a certain point. Best conditions for storage are at 68 F, 60% relative humidity.
  • Rayon thread has non synthetic origin, high sheen, softness and is relatively weak. The temperature of coloring of such threads is 194 degrees F.
  • Polyester threads are synthetic and being dyed at 275 degrees F. These make them resistant to discoloration and tear.
  • Threads for embroidery are 2-ply and for sewing purposes are 3-play (99%)
