Tip: Embroidering This Design on a Terry Towel

If you want to stitch this free embroidery design on a terry towel, use water-soluble topping on top of the towel and a suitable stabilizer underneath. Terry cloth has raised loops, and topping helps keep flowers, butterflies and small details clean on the surface instead of sinking into the fabric.

For towels, guest towels and kitchen towels, always make a test stitch first. This helps you check thread tension, stabilizer, fabric behavior and the final look before embroidering your finished towel.
