How to embroider the Purple Roses design

This floral design fits a standard 100 × 100 mm (4×4-inch) embroidery field. A larger compatible hoop may also be used, although the smallest suitable hoop normally provides better fabric control.

  1. Use a 75/11 embroidery needle for stable woven cotton.
  2. Place medium-weight tear-away stabilizer beneath the fabric.
  3. Apply temporary spray adhesive to the stabilizer, not directly around the embroidery machine.
  4. Hoop the fabric and stabilizer together without stretching the fabric.
  5. Run the machine’s boundary-check function before stitching.
  6. Test the design on a sample of the same fabric before embroidering the finished item.

Useful rule: stabilizer weight can be estimated as approximately one-third of the fabric weight. For fabric weighing 150 g/m², begin testing with stabilizer around 50 g/m². Design density and fabric stability must also be considered.
