Mini Banana, Lemon, Bell Pepper & Pear Machine Embroidery Designs is a downloadable set of four separate watercolor-sketch motifs: a curved banana, a whole lemon with a cut slice, a yellow sweet bell pepper, and a pear with a green leaf.

Open color fills, visible fabric highlights and dark hand-drawn contours create a light illustrated effect. Stitch the motifs separately on kitchen towels and napkins or combine all four designs into a coordinated fruit-and-vegetable textile collection.

The published color charts use Madeira Classic Rayon 40. The color names and numbers below follow the chart sequence and identify the part embroidered by each thread.

The color blocks are approximate screen previews. Actual rayon thread may appear different because of thread shine, lighting, dye lot and monitor settings. Preserve clear contrast between the three yellow shades and the dark final outline.

The published gallery charts show the smallest version of each motif. Their stitch totals are rounded, while the Technical Information section above uses the exact stitch counts published on the product page.

Fabric and Stabilizer Recommendations

White, ivory or very light natural fabric is recommended. The unstitched areas form part of the watercolor highlights, so dark or strongly patterned fabric will substantially change the appearance of the motifs.

• Stable cotton or linen weighing approximately 140–170 g/m²: Madeira Cotton Soft 50 g/m² tear-away stabilizer;
• Light fabric or an item that is difficult to hoop: Madeira Cotton Fix 50 g/m² self-adhesive tear-away stabilizer;
• Stretch or knitted fabric: Madeira E-ZEE Green Cut 45 g/m² cut-away stabilizer;
• Terry or textured kitchen towels: suitable backing plus Gunold SOLVY FILM 20 water-soluble topping;
• Upper thread: Madeira Classic Rayon 40 for lustre or Madeira Polyneon 40 for frequently washed kitchen textiles;
• Needle: embroidery or sharp needle, size 75/11;
• Bobbin: standard machine embroidery bobbin thread.

As a starting point, stabilizer weight can be calculated as approximately one third of the fabric weight. For example, cotton weighing about 150 g/m² can be paired with approximately 50 g/m² stabilizer. The fabric structure, design size and stitch density must also be considered.

Hoop the fabric without stretching it. Test the selected size on a fabric remnant before embroidering the finished item. The fabric must remain stable so that the dark sketch contours align with the loose color fills.

Is this one combined design?

No. The Banana, Lemon, Bell Pepper and Pear are four separate machine embroidery designs. Each motif can be embroidered independently.

Are all four designs supplied in four sizes?

No. Banana, Lemon and Pear are supplied in four sizes each. The yellow Bell Pepper is supplied in five sizes. The purchase therefore contains seventeen original size variants.

Do all included files fit a 4x4 hoop?

Yes. All seventeen sizes fit a 100x100 mm (3.94x3.94"; commonly called a 4x4" hoop) embroidery field.

Is the Pepper a chili pepper?

No. The design shows a rounded yellow sweet bell pepper with multiple lobes, not a long chili pepper.

Are the whole lemon and lemon slice separate files?

No. The whole lemon and cut slice form one combined Lemon composition. They are not supplied as two independent motifs.

Why is light fabric recommended?

Parts of the fabric intentionally remain visible through the loose fills and form the lightest highlights. Dark fabric will show through these areas and change the appearance of the yellow fruit and vegetables.

Can I use polyester instead of rayon?

Yes. A quality 40-weight polyester thread such as Madeira Polyneon 40 is practical for kitchen towels, napkins and aprons that will be washed frequently.

Can I change the yellow colors?

Yes. Keep three clearly separated yellow or golden shades and a dark contrasting outline. The Pear also requires two contrasting green shades for the leaf.

Can the files be resized?

Use one of the included original sizes whenever possible. Significant resizing can change the relationship between the open fills and the dark sketch contours.

Is this a finished physical product?

No. The purchase contains downloadable files for a computerized embroidery machine. No finished embroidery or materials will be shipped.

Can I sell items embroidered with these designs?

Finished embroidered items may be sold by a small business. Factory production and redistribution, sharing or resale of the digital embroidery files are prohibited.
