Small Autumn Bunny with Acorn is a digital machine embroidery design for a child’s polo patch pocket, the chest of a children’s T-shirt, a pouch, or a small accessory. The artwork shows a seated bunny holding a large golden acorn, with a small acorn, an oak leaf and blades of grass on the ground. The download contains 8 separately prepared files from 40.7x44.6 mm (1.60x1.76 ") to 79.3x86.4 mm (3.12x3.40 ").
Before placing the design on a ready-made pocket, print the selected file at 100% scale. The usable pocket area must be larger than the complete design outline, not only the bunny. Run the machine trace before the first stitch and confirm that the needle path will not catch the back layer of the polo.

Frequently asked questions
How do I embroider this design on a ready-made child’s polo patch pocket without a commercial machine?
Print the template at 100% and choose a size that stays inside the usable pocket area. Hoop only self-adhesive stabilizer and score its release paper. Place a soft cut-away stabilizer inside the pocket, smooth the front pocket wall onto the adhesive, and pull the polo back completely clear of the needle path. Add a basting box inside the usable pocket area. Check with your fingers that the back layer is not under the needle; otherwise the pocket will be sewn shut. If self-adhesive stabilizer is unavailable, embroider the flat pocket piece before it is sewn onto the polo.
Which pocket frames are used on commercial or multi-needle machines?
Use a machine-specific pocket attachment, not a universal hoop: Tajima Pocket Frame or Air Type Pocket Frame, Melco Fast Clamp or Micro Clamp, or Brother PR Fast Frame and Driver Set with 2.5x4" and 3x4" pocket hoops. Tajima pocket frames use a cap-frame drive; Melco Fast Clamp is made for AMAYA, EMT, BRAVO and SUMMIT lines; the Brother set is compatible with PR650, PR650e, PR655, PR1000, PR1000e, PR600, PR600II, PR620 and PR655C. Confirm the machine model, drive and true usable stitch field before buying. Sizes 1–7 require at least 80x80 mm (3x3"); size 8 requires at least 100x100 mm (4x4").
What stabilizer prevents puckering on child’s polo piqué?
Leave a soft cut-away stabilizer under piqué or another stretch knit so the stitch field remains supported after washing. Hoop the polo in its relaxed state without stretching it. Use temporary adhesive only in a light coat on the stabilizer to hold the layers; it does not replace backing. If the piqué texture is pronounced, add water-soluble topping on the surface so the fine outlines, whiskers and eye do not sink into the texture.
Why does size 8 not fit an 80x80 mm (3x3") hoop?
Its exact size is 79.3x86.4 mm (3.12x3.40 "), so the 86.4 mm height exceeds 80 mm. Use a 100x100 mm (4x4") hoop with enough actual stitch field. Because usable sewing fields can be smaller than nominal hoop dimensions, run a trace and confirm that the full outline remains inside the machine’s working area.
