Moroccan Monogram Frame Machine Embroidery Design features an ornate circular frame inspired by Moroccan decorative patterns. Turquoise and blue ornamental elements, white details and small golden accents create a distinctive setting for an initial, a couple’s monogram or a short personalized inscription.

Use the frame to personalize towels, napkins, flour sack linens, pillowcases, table accessories, wedding textiles and handmade gifts. The central area is intentionally left open so you can combine the frame with your own embroidery font in suitable editing software.

The letters shown in the product images are examples only. The monogram and the Olietta Script Poesia font are not included with this product.

This listing contains a digital design for a computerized embroidery machine. Fabric, thread, stabilizer, lettering and the finished embroidered item are not included.

Design information

Size: 126.7x141.5 mm (4.99x5.57 "), Stitches: 15888
Formats: .dst, .jef, .pec, .vip, .hus, .pes, .exp, .sew, .dat, xxx, vp3

The design normally requires a 130 x 180 mm / 13 x 18 cm / 5 x 7 in embroidery field. Before purchasing, compare the exact design dimensions with the usable embroidery area of your machine. A hoop described as 5x7 does not automatically guarantee the same usable field on every machine.

What is included

  • one ready-sized Moroccan-style frame design;
  • 11 listed machine embroidery formats;
  • four programmed color blocks;
  • color references and embroidery sequence.

Not included: alphabet, initials, monogram font, embroidery software, materials or a finished item.

Thread chart and color sequence

Thread palette: Madeira Classic Rayon
Color blocks: 4
Thread changes: 3
Color sequence: 1093, 1176, 1004, 1125

  1. Madeira Classic 1093, Azure Sea Blue — turquoise ornamental elements.
  2. Madeira Classic 1176, Navajo Blue — contrasting blue details.
  3. Madeira Classic 1004, Natural White — light decorative accents.
  4. Madeira Classic 1125, Saffron Yellow — small golden-colored accents.

The Madeira numbers provide a reference palette. Equivalent embroidery threads from another manufacturer may be used. Preserve enough contrast between the two blue shades, the white details and the small accent stitches.

For a monochromatic wedding version, use the same thread through all four programmed color blocks. The machine may still stop between blocks, but the thread does not need to be replaced.

Recommended fabric, stabilizer and needle

  • stable woven cotton, linen, flour sack fabric or cotton blend;
  • tear-away stabilizer for stable woven projects;
  • self-adhesive Madeira Cotton Fix tear-away stabilizer for accurate placement;
  • cut-away stabilizer for softer, unstable or frequently washed fabrics;
  • sharp embroidery needle, size 75/11;
  • water-soluble topping when stitching on terry cloth or another textured surface.

The design contains fine decorative lines, so secure stabilization and a sharp 75/11 needle help preserve clean edges and small details. Always test the complete design on a fabric and stabilizer combination comparable to the final project.

How to add your monogram

  1. Open the frame and the selected embroidery font in compatible editing software.
  2. Place the initial, initials or short monogram inside the open center.
  3. Check that the lettering does not overlap the frame or decorative details.
  4. Review the complete stitch sequence, final dimensions and stitch count.
  5. Save the combined project in the format supported by your machine.
  6. Transfer the finished composition to the machine and perform a test stitch.

Choose a true machine embroidery font rather than converting an ordinary computer font automatically. Very thin letters may disappear on textured fabric, while oversized lettering may touch or cross the decorative frame.

The Olietta Script Poesia lettering visible in the sample is not included. You may use another script, serif or block embroidery font if its proportions fit the available central area.

Project and color ideas

  • personalized bath or guest towels;
  • flour sack towels and kitchen linens;
  • napkins and table runners;
  • wedding and anniversary textiles;
  • decorative pillowcases;
  • personalized gifts for couples and families;
  • monogrammed handmade products for sale.

Turquoise, blue, white and gold emphasize the Moroccan character of the frame. White-on-white creates a subtle wedding monogram, while navy and gold produce a stronger formal contrast. For everyday linens, coordinate the frame with the fabric, edging or surrounding table decor.

Frequently asked questions

Is the monogram or font included?

No. The purchase includes the decorative frame only. The letters in the photographs demonstrate one possible use. Olietta Script Poesia and all other lettering must be purchased or created separately.

Can I use my own embroidery font?

Yes. Combine the frame with your chosen machine embroidery font in editing software before transferring the project to your machine. Check the placement, stitch sequence and total dimensions before saving the combined file.

Will this design fit a 5x7 hoop?

It fits when the machine provides a usable embroidery field of at least 126.7 x 141.5 mm / 12.67 x 14.15 cm / 4.99 x 5.57 in. Check the actual field in your machine manual or embroidery software rather than relying only on the hoop’s commercial name.

Will it fit a 4x4 hoop?

No. Both dimensions exceed the working area of a 100 x 100 mm / 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in hoop.

Can the frame be embroidered without lettering?

Yes. The decorative frame can be stitched as supplied and used without a monogram on napkins, table linens, pillows or other home-decor projects.

Can I stitch the entire design in one color?

Yes. Leave the same thread installed for all four programmed color blocks. The machine may pause three times because the file retains its original color sequence, but no actual rethreading is required.

Which stabilizer should I use?

For stable cotton, linen or flour sack fabric, use a suitable tear-away stabilizer. Madeira Cotton Fix is convenient when adhesive support is needed. Use cut-away support for soft, unstable or frequently washed textiles. Test the combination before stitching the final item.

Can I embroider the frame on a terry towel?

Yes. Stabilize the reverse securely and place water-soluble topping over the pile so the fine decorative stitches remain visible instead of sinking into the loops.

Can I significantly resize the design?

Significant resizing is not recommended because it changes stitch density, line width and the quality of small decorative details. This product contains one ready-sized file. Use a professionally resized version if another dimension is required.

How do I select the correct file format?

Unzip the downloaded archive and transfer only the file format supported by your embroidery machine. Consult the embroidery machine file formats guide if you are unsure which extension your machine reads.

Is this a finished embroidered product?

No. It is a downloadable digital machine embroidery file. No physical product will be shipped.

Can I sell finished products made with this frame?

Finished embroidered items may be sold as part of a small handmade business. Reselling, sharing or distributing the digital files is prohibited, and industrial mass production is not permitted. Review the Royal Present Embroidery terms of use.
