Jack-O'-Lantern Face and Ghost BOO Machine Embroidery Designs is a set of two separate Halloween motifs. The set includes a one-color Jack-O'-Lantern facial expression and a cheerful white ghost with bold BOO! lettering. Each design is supplied in four sizes for Halloween towels, napkins, treat bags, shirts, kitchen textiles and seasonal decorations.
The Jack-O'-Lantern file stitches the eyes, nose and mouth only. It does not include a filled orange pumpkin shape. For the classic pumpkin effect, stitch the black face on orange fabric, an orange towel, a fabric panel or another pumpkin-colored background.
The Ghost design includes the ghost figure and BOO! lettering as one complete composition. This is a machine embroidery design set for embroidery machines, not finished towels, patches, shirts, treat bags or physical Halloween decorations.

This product contains two separate embroidery motifs rather than one combined scene:
The motifs can be stitched on separate items or combined into a coordinated Halloween set. For example, use the pumpkin face on an orange kitchen towel and the ghost on a matching hand towel, treat bag or children’s shirt.
The smallest Jack-O'-Lantern size and the smallest Ghost size are both within a nominal 100x100 mm / 4x4 inch embroidery field. Check the actual usable area of your machine before purchase, especially for the Ghost size, which measures close to the hoop limit.
The remaining sizes require a larger embroidery field. Do not choose a file only by the commercial name of the hoop; compare the exact millimeter dimensions with the embroidery area supported by your machine.
A nominal 130x180 mm / 5x7 inch field can accommodate several larger versions, but the design may need to be rotated to match the available width and height. The largest Jack-O'-Lantern measures 130.7x97.3 mm, so check whether your machine permits a suitable rotated orientation and provides enough usable area near the hoop boundary.
The largest Ghost measures 128.2x128.3 mm and is close to the 130 mm side of a standard 5x7 field. Confirm the machine’s exact usable dimensions rather than assuming every 130x180 mm hoop stitches the full stated area.
The Jack-O'-Lantern design contains the facial features, not a complete filled pumpkin. For the clearest result, stitch it in black or another dark contrasting thread on orange fabric. An orange towel, cotton panel, canvas bag or sweatshirt can act as the pumpkin background.
On black, navy or very dark fabric, the traditional black face will disappear. Use orange, white, lime green or another contrasting thread, or place the design on a separate orange fabric panel.
The ghost is a denser design than the Jack-O'-Lantern face because it includes a filled ghost shape and large lettering. Use stable backing so the fabric does not pull inward around the ghost body or the satin-style letters.
On dark fabric, the white ghost provides strong contrast. Check the BOO! lettering colors before stitching: black details may disappear on black fabric, so replace them with orange, purple, lime green or another visible Halloween color when necessary.
For terry towels, place medium-weight cutaway stabilizer under the fabric and water-soluble topping over the towel surface. The topping prevents the ghost, lettering and pumpkin-face edges from sinking into the towel loops.
If the towel is too thick to hoop without compression marks or distortion, hoop the stabilizer and float the towel on top. Secure it carefully with temporary embroidery adhesive or a suitable basting method, keeping the towel smooth and away from the machine’s moving parts.
For cotton T-shirts and sweatshirts, use cutaway or no-show mesh stabilizer. Do not stretch the knit while hooping. A light fusible backing can help control very soft fabric before it is placed in the hoop.
Because the Ghost design has a higher stitch count and filled areas, test it on the same fabric first. For children’s garments, cover the finished embroidery back with a soft protective layer if the stitches or stabilizer may contact the skin.

It contains two separate machine embroidery designs: a Jack-O'-Lantern face and a Ghost with BOO! lettering. Each motif is supplied in four sizes.
No. It stitches the eyes, nose and mouth only. The orange pumpkin effect comes from the towel, fabric or panel used as the background.
The smallest Jack-O'-Lantern and smallest Ghost versions are within a nominal 100x100 mm field. The Ghost is close to the hoop limit, so check your machine’s exact usable embroidery area.
Several larger versions can fit a nominal 130x180 mm field, sometimes after rotating the design. Check the exact dimensions and orientation. The largest Jack-O'-Lantern is 130.7 mm on one side, while the largest Ghost is close to the 130 mm limit.
No. These are regular machine embroidery designs. They do not require applique fabric placement or trimming steps. Separate applique ghost and pumpkin alternatives are available in the related links.
Yes. Use medium-weight cutaway stabilizer underneath and water-soluble topping above the towel. If the towel is too thick to hoop safely, float it over the hooped stabilizer.
Yes, but traditional black thread will disappear on black fabric. Choose orange, white, lime green or another contrasting thread, or stitch the face on an orange fabric panel.
Use cutaway or no-show mesh stabilizer because the ghost contains filled stitching and large lettering. Do not stretch the shirt while hooping, and test the design on similar knit fabric first.
No. Changing the size without professional stitch recalculation can affect density, outlines, lettering and stitch quality. If another size is required, use the professional Resize of Design service.
The two motifs have different construction and stitch density. The pumpkin face is an open one-color design, while the ghost contains larger filled areas and lettering. A separate test helps confirm stabilizer, tension and thread contrast for each motif.
