~ Cotton fabric has a high shrinkage ratio. That is why it is important to wash, dry and iron the fabric BEFORE embroidery. Thus, you can get the desired result.
~ Try to use cotton without the presence of elastane in the composition, as it stretches too much.
~ Traditional cotton fabric must be hooped so that it does not sag.
~ Use a suitable stabilizer. We recommend staying Madeira Cotton Fix Tear Away Stabilizer or Madeira Cotton Soft Tear Away Stabilizer. If you do not have these, you can take the usual cut-away stabilizer.
~ Correctly pick up the needle. We recommend using a pointed needle #75/11 for medium-density cotton, and needle #90 for a very thick cotton fabric.
