Machine embroidery on cotton
Today we want to talk to you about embroidery on popular cotton. Which cotton fits better? And how to choose the right technology embroidery?
Cotton fabric has a high shrinkage ratio. This may later affect the quality of embroidery. To avoid this kind of deformation, it is recommended to wash and dry the fabric before embroidery.
You can use both tear-away and cut-away stabilizers. In this case, be guided by the fact how often the product will be subjected to washing. If very often, use a cut-away stabilizer and a glue spray of a temporary fixation. And, accordingly, if it will be washer not often use tear-away, for example, self-adhesive Madeira Cotton Fix or Madeira Cotton Soft Tear-away Stabilizers.
*** Useful advice: In order not to stain the working surface with the glue of a temporary fixation, spray it in the box. So you will save time and effort that would be spent on cleaning the surface.
This design has been tested and reviewed to ensure top quality. Test stitch the design, or portions of it, before stitching it onto your final item, as results may vary depending on fabric and stabilizer combination.
