Embroidering on dense fabrics consider a few tips:
~ Correctly select the combination stabilizer plus fabric. For example, if you take too thick stabilizer and thick fabric, embroidery will seem like a bulletproof vest. Moreover, this is an additional burden on your embroidery machine. In this case, we recommend using Madeira Cotton Fix Tear Away Stabilizer or Madeira Cotton Stable Tear Away Stabilizer. The first is a self-adhesive stabilizer. It is easy to use and especially suitable for those who have just begun to engage in machine embroidery. The second is a thermo stabilizer, which is glued with a hot iron. In this case, dense natural fabric is not afraid of ironing, so the stabilizer is also great.
~ Do not forget to change the needle. For thick fabrics it is not recommended to use a regular embroidery or a thin pointed needle. This, of course, a waste of time and materials. For embroidery on dense natural fabrics, we recommend using a needle #90.
~ If your fabric has cotton fibers in its composition, their amount exceeds 50%, be prepared for the fact that the fabric can shrink. In this case, it is recommended to wash and dry it before embroidery. This will help you maintain the quality of the embroidery and not spoil it.
Together with these tips, you can easily embroider Queen Frog Machine Embroidery Design on dense natural fabrics. Successful embroidery!
