Floral Bouquet with Bow Machine Embroidery Design Set contains two coordinated floral motifs supplied as three embroidery files. The set includes a miniature tied bouquet and a fuller floral composition with a large ribbon bow, available in two sizes. Use the motifs separately or combine them across sachets, pouches, clothing, pillows, table linens, bags and coordinated handmade gifts.

The smaller motif repeats the romantic flower-and-bow theme in a compact format, while the two larger files contain the same full bouquet at different scales. This makes the set more accurately described as 2 designs and 3 files, rather than three separate designs.

This product contains files for a computerized embroidery machine. It is not a finished bouquet, patch, sachet, garment, pillow, bag or other physical product.

What Is Included in the Set?

Design 1: Mini Floral Bouquet with Bow

The miniature motif features small blossoms, leaves and a tied ribbon bow. Its compact proportions make it suitable for small fabric projects and secondary accents.

Size: 47.0x46.0 mm (1.85x1.81 "), Stitches: 3171

Design 2: Full Floral Bouquet with Bow — 2 Sizes

The full composition contains branching stems, small blossoms, larger stylized flowers, leaves and a prominent ribbon bow. The same complete bouquet is supplied in a medium and a large size.

Size: 190.0x173.9 mm (7.48x6.85 "), Stitches: 24637

Size: 90.0x82.6 mm (3.54x3.25 "), Stitches: 10213

Formats: .dst, .jef, .pec, .vip, .hus, .pes, .sew, .exp, .dat, VP3, art

Why Is This a Two-Design Set?

The miniature bouquet and the full bouquet are different compositions. The miniature file has its own compact arrangement of flowers and bow, while the medium and large files contain the same complete bouquet at two professionally digitized sizes.

  • Two separate motifs: one miniature bouquet and one full bouquet;
  • Three supplied files: one size of the miniature motif and two sizes of the full composition;
  • Coordinated appearance: matching flowers, foliage, colors and ribbon elements;
  • Flexible project planning: use the small motif as an accent and the full bouquet as the main decoration.

What Does the Full Bouquet Look Like?

The main composition is an airy asymmetrical bouquet formed by curved stems, small flower clusters, rose-like blossoms, buds, leaves and a large tied ribbon. The branches extend horizontally and vertically from the central bow, creating a balanced decorative shape without forming a rigid circle or frame.

The open spaces between the stems allow the fabric to remain visible, while the larger flowers and dark leaves create clear focal points. The motif works particularly well as a central feature on a pillow, garment panel, table runner, tote bag or framed textile piece.

What Does the Miniature Bouquet Look Like?

The miniature motif uses a simplified cluster of small blossoms and leaves tied with a compact bow. It is not merely the full design reduced to a tiny size. It is a separately arranged motif digitized for a smaller embroidery area.

This makes it practical for projects where the complete bouquet would be too large or visually heavy. The miniature design can also serve as a coordinating accent beside the larger bouquet.

Best Projects for the Mini Bouquet

  • linen sachets and lavender bags;
  • handkerchief corners;
  • small gift and jewelry pouches;
  • collars, cuffs and blouse pockets;
  • small cosmetic-bag accents;
  • napkin corners;
  • doll clothing and miniature textiles;
  • fabric labels and keepsake bags;
  • coordinating accents beside the full bouquet.

Best Projects for the Medium Bouquet

  • cosmetic pouches and clutch fronts;
  • guest towels with a smooth decorative band;
  • napkins and small table toppers;
  • blouse fronts and dress bodices;
  • small tote bags;
  • pillow accents;
  • fabric book and album covers;
  • romantic wedding and nursery accessories.

Best Projects for the Large Bouquet

  • decorative pillow and cushion fronts;
  • large tote bags and fabric panels;
  • table runners and table toppers;
  • dress, robe and jacket backs;
  • large bodice or skirt panels embroidered before assembly;
  • bed linen and pillowcases;
  • framed textile pictures;
  • romantic home décor and wedding projects.

Which Hoop Fits Each File?

The 47.0x46.0 mm miniature bouquet fits within an 80x80 mm field and also fits a standard 100x100 mm or 4x4 inch embroidery field.

The 90.0x82.6 mm full bouquet fits within a standard 100x100 mm or 4x4 inch field when the machine supports both complete listed dimensions.

The 190.0x173.9 mm full bouquet requires an embroidery field of at least 190.0x173.9 mm. A 200x200 mm field is a practical option. An 180x300 mm field may also work after rotation when the machine supports the design as 173.9x190.0 mm.

The large file does not fit a 130x180 mm, 140x200 mm or 160x240 mm field because one side of the design measures 190.0 mm. Always compare both exact dimensions with the actual usable field of the embroidery machine.

How Do You Choose Between the Two Full-Bouquet Sizes?

Choose the 90.0x82.6 mm version for compact projects where the entire bouquet must remain clearly visible without dominating the item. It is suitable for pouches, smaller garments, napkins and narrow decorative panels.

Choose the 190.0x173.9 mm version when the bouquet will be the main feature of a pillow, large bag, table runner, garment panel or framed textile piece.

Print the selected file at full scale before hooping. A design can fit the machine field but still be too large or too small for the proportions of the finished item.

How Can the Two Motifs Be Used Together?

The coordinated motifs make it possible to create a matching project set without repeating the same embroidery at the same scale.

  • embroider the full bouquet on a pillow and the mini bouquet on a coordinating sachet;
  • place the large bouquet on a tote bag and the miniature motif on a matching pouch;
  • use the full design on a table runner and the small bouquet on individual napkins;
  • embroider the main composition on a robe or blouse and add the miniature bouquet to a pocket or cuff;
  • use the large bouquet on a gift bag and the mini design on a fabric gift tag;
  • combine the medium bouquet and miniature motif on opposite corners of a textile project.

Which Fabric Works Best?

The flowers, narrow stems and small leaves are clearest on a smooth, stable surface. Suitable choices include cotton, linen, cotton-linen blends, gabardine, twill, quilting cotton, smooth canvas and stable decorative fabric.

Silk and satin can also produce an elegant result, but they require careful hooping and a complete test stitch. Needle marks, hoop marks and puckering are more visible on delicate fabric than on cotton or linen.

Avoid beginning with deep terry cloth, thick fleece or heavily textured fabric. Small petals, fine stems and the miniature bouquet may sink into the surface and lose definition.

Which Stabilizer Should You Use?

For stable medium-weight cotton, linen or gabardine, use medium tear-away or lightweight cutaway stabilizer after completing a test. Cutaway support is the safer option for handled, worn or frequently washed projects.

For the 190.0x173.9 mm bouquet, use reliable support across the complete hoop opening. The large design contains longer stems and a wider embroidery area, making consistent stabilization more important.

For silk, satin or another delicate woven fabric, test lightweight fusible support or a soft cutaway stabilizer that does not show through the finished item. Hoop carefully or float the fabric over securely hooped stabilizer when direct hooping may leave marks.

For a smooth towel border, use cutaway stabilizer underneath. On lightly textured fabric, add water-soluble topping if the smallest flowers and stems begin to sink into the surface.

How Should You Hoop the Fabric?

  • mark the design center and horizontal and vertical reference lines;
  • keep the fabric grain straight inside the hoop;
  • do not stretch linen, cotton, silk or satin;
  • use stabilizer larger than the complete hoop opening;
  • tighten the hoop sufficiently to prevent movement without distorting the fabric;
  • support large garments, runners and bags near the machine;
  • confirm the motif orientation on the machine screen before stitching.

How Should the Design Be Placed on Clothing?

On a blouse or dress, the medium bouquet can be positioned on the bodice, lower front, shoulder area or a separate panel. Keep the embroidery clear of darts, button plackets, zippers, thick seams and heavily gathered areas.

The large bouquet is better embroidered on a flat garment piece before assembly. Mark the neckline, waistline, seams and intended finished edges before hooping so the outer branches do not disappear into the construction.

The miniature bouquet can be added to a pocket, collar point, cuff, sleeve or matching accessory.

How Should the Design Be Placed on a Pillow?

The large bouquet works well as a central or slightly offset pillow motif. Mark the finished pillow size and seam allowance before embroidery.

Leave enough clear space around the outer stems, flower clusters and ribbon ends. Embroider the flat pillow front before assembling the cushion whenever possible.

The medium bouquet can be repeated in two opposite corners, while the miniature motif can be used on a coordinating smaller cushion or fabric tag.

How Should the Design Be Used on a Sachet or Pouch?

The miniature bouquet is the most practical option for a small sachet. Place it above the lower seam and below the drawstring, ribbon channel or closure.

The medium bouquet can decorate a cosmetic pouch or larger gift bag. Perform the embroidery on the flat outer panel before attaching the zipper, lining or side seams.

Do not place dense floral sections directly over a folded seam allowance. Mark the finished dimensions of the pouch before centering the motif.

Thread Color Ideas

The original preview uses soft pink flowers with gray-green stems, taupe foliage and darker accent leaves. This muted palette gives the composition a romantic vintage appearance.

The colors can be changed to coordinate with the fabric and project:

  • Romantic: blush pink, dusty rose, pearl gray and sage;
  • Vintage: antique rose, muted mauve, taupe and olive;
  • Wedding: ivory, champagne, pale blush and soft gold-gray;
  • Blue floral: powder blue, dusty blue, silver-gray and navy accents;
  • Autumn: terracotta, burgundy, warm beige and olive;
  • Monochrome-inspired: several shades from one color family.

Maintain enough contrast between the flowers, stems, leaves and ribbon. Replacing all neighboring shades with one thread may reduce the separation between overlapping elements.

Can Metallic Thread Be Used?

Metallic thread can be added selectively to the ribbon, flower centers or a few decorative outlines. It is better used as an accent than as a replacement for all stems, petals and filled areas.

  • use a needle suitable for metallic embroidery thread;
  • reduce the embroidery speed;
  • allow the spool to feed without twisting;
  • check the thread path for excessive friction;
  • test the modified color sequence before stitching the final project.

How Do You Prevent Puckering and Outline Shifting?

  • match the stabilizer to the fabric and selected file size;
  • do not stretch the fabric while hooping;
  • support the weight of large projects near the machine;
  • avoid stitching the large bouquet on very thin unsupported fabric;
  • reduce the machine speed around small petals and narrow stems;
  • check upper-thread and bobbin tension;
  • use a fresh embroidery needle;
  • complete a test stitch on the same fabric and stabilizer combination.

Needle and Thread Recommendations

A fresh 75/11 embroidery needle is suitable for most cotton, linen, gabardine and medium-weight decorative fabrics. An 80/12 needle may be appropriate for heavier canvas or a layered bag panel.

Use a fine sharp embroidery needle appropriate for silk or satin and test whether it leaves visible holes. Replace the needle if it begins to push the fabric downward or produce uneven outlines.

Quality polyester embroidery thread is practical for clothing, pouches, pillows and table linens that may be washed. Rayon thread can provide additional sheen for decorative projects, subject to the thread manufacturer’s care recommendations.

Do Not Resize the Files Independently

Do not enlarge or reduce the files independently. Without professional stitch recalculation, resizing can damage density, underlay, pull compensation, stitch length, petal shapes, narrow stems and alignment between the filled areas and outlines.

The full bouquet is already supplied in two professionally prepared sizes. The miniature bouquet is a separately digitized compact motif, not an automatically reduced copy of the larger composition.

Royal Present is not responsible for embroidery quality after the customer independently resizes, edits or converts the supplied files.

FAQ

How many separate designs are included?

The set contains two separate floral motifs: one miniature bouquet and one full bouquet. The full bouquet is supplied in two sizes, producing three embroidery files in total.

Are all three files the same bouquet in different sizes?

No. The 47.0x46.0 mm miniature bouquet is a separate composition. The 90.0x82.6 mm and 190.0x173.9 mm files contain the same full bouquet in two professionally prepared sizes.

Which files fit a 100x100 mm or 4x4 inch hoop?

The 47.0x46.0 mm miniature bouquet and the 90.0x82.6 mm full bouquet fit within a standard 100x100 mm field when the machine supports the complete listed dimensions.

Which hoop is required for the largest bouquet?

The largest bouquet measures 190.0x173.9 mm. A 200x200 mm field is a practical option. An 180x300 mm field may also work after rotation when the machine supports the complete rotated dimensions.

What can I make with the miniature bouquet?

The miniature motif is suitable for sachets, handkerchief corners, pockets, cuffs, collars, small gift bags, fabric labels and coordinating accents beside the full bouquet.

Can the large bouquet be embroidered on a pillow?

Yes. Mark the finished pillow size and seam allowance, then embroider the flat front panel before assembly. Keep the outer branches and ribbon ends away from the future seams.

Is the set suitable for silk or satin?

Yes, but delicate fabric requires careful stabilization and a complete test stitch. Check for hoop marks, needle holes, puckering and show-through before embroidering the final item.

Can I change the original pink and gray-green colors?

Yes. The thread palette can be adapted to the project. Maintain enough contrast between flowers, stems, leaves and the ribbon so the separate parts of the bouquet remain visible.

Is this an applique or ITH project?

No automatic project construction is included. The files create decorative floral embroidery and do not assemble a pouch, sachet, pillow or other item in the hoop.

Can I resize the files myself?

No. Independent resizing can damage density, underlay, pull compensation, petal shapes, narrow stems and outline alignment. When another size is required, use the professional Resize of Design service.

Is a test stitch necessary?

Yes. A test stitch confirms hoop compatibility, stabilizer performance, thread tension, color contrast and alignment between the flowers, stems, leaves and outlines.
