Natural fabrics include canvas, burlap, cotton, linen and hemp fabric.
Embroidering this pattern on natural fabrics note the following key points:
~ Cotton fabric requires prewashing. Otherwise, the fabric will shrink and the embroidery will be spoiled.
~ Very loose linen fabric requires additional processing of the edges from the fraying of fibers. For this, you can use a special stop fraying glue.
~ A tear-away stabilizer is perfect for thick natural hemp fabric. If hemp fabric contains an admixture of other fibers, for example, cotton, it is better to use a cut-away stabilizer.
~ Burlap (or jute cloth) requires the use of an additional dense water-soluble stabilizer on top, for example, Sulky Super Solvy. Moreover, this feature characterizes the loose linen fabric.
