First, we should remember the main formula for the conformity of the embroidery designs for sale and fabric. It sounds like this: “The thicker the embroidery, the thicker and more stable the fabric should be.” That is, patterns with dense cover require a base fabric of the appropriate density. However, light designs can be embroidered even on the thinnest and most transparent fabrics. Pay attention to this.

Thirdly, an important factor affecting the puckering of the fabric is its tension in the hoop. If the fabric is not tight enough, the probability that the fabric will pucker is high.

Fourthly, in manuals on the using of embroidery machines, it is noted that burrs on the path of the thread can also lead to this problem. Although it is more likely that this factor affects more the problem of yarn breakage during embroidery. Nevertheless, you should also consider it.

These are the main, so to speak, standard reasons. Moreover, there are some additional factors of tissue puckering. These include:

~ Tension on the compensating spring

~ The gap between the retainer (hook retainer = hook support = finger). It should be from 0.5 to 0.8 mm. Adjust it is possible by loosening the two screws that are at the edges, and shifting the plate in the desired direction.

~ Checking the position of the retainer. You need to make sure that it is not shifted in any direction.
