To create such an original pillow with grapes embroidery design you need:

~ A piece of linen fabric 20×20 Inches of the desired color for the front. For this design, gentle, unobtrusive and pastel colors suit perfectly.

~ A piece of canvas fabric 20×20 Inches for the back of the pillow. In addition, this fabric is better to take darker.

~ Middle-weight cut-away stabilizer

First, you need to take a linen cloth of the specified size and printed pattern design. It is a printout of the design in full size with marked lines of the center and the direction of the X and Y axes. Attach the template to the top of the fabric and transfer the marks. Then take the cut-away stabilizer, sprinkle it with glue fabric stitch and attach the fabric. Hoop it with the stabilizer and embroider the design. After the machine has finished embroidering, unhoop the fabric and cut off the excess stabilizer. Repeat the same steps to embroider this grapes embroidery design in the bottom of the fabric.

When the embroidery is ready, take the back part for the pillow from the canvas fabric and the front part with the grapes embroidery design. Sew them together, leaving at the end a small nick for the filler. Give the pillow the desired shape, evenly distributing the selected filler. Sew by hand the hidden seams the nick. The cushion is almost ready. Now we need to make the final touch. Sew the button in the middle of the pillow, piercing the entire pillow with a needle. This will achieve the so-called “tufted” effect on tissue.
