For such embroidery, you need:

~ Knitted cardigan
~ Medium-weight cut-away stabilizer
~ Thin water-soluble stabilizer
~ Fabric glue stick
~ Ruler
~ Air-erase pen
~ Machine embroidery pattern

Before embroidery, wash the cardigan, as the fabric can shrink after the first washing. Then, when the cardigan is already dry, take the ruler and measure the distance from the shoulder to the first upper button. Therefore, you can easily choose the appropriate size of the design.

~ If you have not found a suitable size among those that we offer, order a service for resizing the design.

Next, print the template, which we provide in the archive to each design. Attach it to the fabric, mark the center point and the X and y direction lines. Repeat the same steps on the other side. We recommend you to print two templates at once for this. It will give an opportunity to fully assess the situation, and see whether the embroidery will be positioned symmetrically.

The third stage will be the stabilization of the fabric. First, you need to take from the roll the required amount of cut-away stabilizer. Remember that a tightly cut stabilizer should be considerably larger than the hoop size. Next, spray the glue of a temporary fixation on the stabilizer, wait a few seconds and glue the fabric to it. Do it with the wrong side. On the front side of the fabric, put a water-soluble stabilizer in the place where the embroidery will be. Hoop the fabric together with the stabilizers in the embroidery frame. Place the embroidery frame in the machine so that the needle is in the center of the embroidery. Embroider the design. Cut off the excess side of the stabilizer. Then gently tear off the water-soluble film on top. If you notice the remains of small pieces of water-soluble stabilizer, do not worry. To remove them sufficiently to soak the cardigan in warm (but not hot) water.
