This simple and laconic Star free machine embroidery design from our free machine embroidery designs is ideal for embroidering on terry cloth. We used to terry cloth from early childhood. These are towels, socks, and favorite soft and warm terry dressing gowns.
Embroidery on terry cloth is simple and beloved by many embroiderers. It does not require any special tricks since this fabric is stable and does not stretch like many others.
A loopy pile may be the only small hindrance when embroidering this design on the terry fabric. But if you choose the right design, thread, type of stabilizer, and stitching technology, it will decide itself.
You shouldn`t pay special attention to the embroidery needles. But the choice of thread should be taken seriously. When selecting threads, the main criteria should be strength and durability. And so you can choose any thread (rayon thread, polyester, cotton). An exciting option will be the metallization of these stars. To do this, use special metalized threads. But consider that this type of thread is terrible for bleaches and frequent washing.

Although the embroidery on the terry fabric is simple, the use of a stabilizer is still necessary. We recommend you use the Madeira Cotton Fix tear-off stabilizer in this case.
A few tips for our customers
1. When using metalized threads, be sure to take a needle suitable for these threads. Since this thread is very gentle in circulation, passing through a small eye of a simple needle can lead to a permanent rupture of the thread.
2. The correct way of hooping depends on the stabilizer's choice.
3. You can use the thread with the same tone as a fabric.

You can vary the color of the stars and embroider them in a tone that you or your child likes.
