To begin with, you need to choose a fabric that perfectly fits both the upholstery and the embroidery base. Such dense fabrics as jeans, upholstery fabric, and fax suede will be perfect. It is no secret that embroidering on such strong fabrics is a pleasure.

So, to create such a stool with embroidered upholstery you need:

– Upholstery fabric
– Medium-weight cut-away stabilizer
– The glue of a temporary fixation
– Air-erase marker

At the beginning, spread the fabric on the floor or on the table. Put an upside-down chair on top and circle its contours with an air-erase pen on the fabric. Then print out the template that comes with this design. Put the printout on the fabric, and mark the center of the embroidery and the X and Y axis lines. Then join lines from point to point. After that, spray the glue of a temporary fixation onto the cut-away stabilizer. Attach the fabric so that the marked lines are on top. Hoop the fabric together with the stabilizer.
