This design has a companion: Vintage Village - Girl and Snowman machine embroidery design.

The design is stitched in one piece, without divisions, for machines with large hoops that support continuous, unsegmented embroidery designs.

IMPORTANT: This design includes outline elements. To avoid misalignment, the angels are embroidered one by one, ensuring that the large distance between them does not cause any outline distortion.

INSTRUCTIONS - Plate Mat Guide

Instructions for embroidering the "Vintage Village" design on a mega plate mat:

Step 1:
Apply temporary adhesive spray to two layers of stabilizer and attach them to the fabric. Then, hoop the fabric along with the stabilizers.

Step 2:
Begin stitching the design. Before the machine starts stitching the outline (marked green in the color scheme), stop the machine and remove the hoop.

Step 3:
Turn the hoop over. Spray temporary adhesive on the back of the stabilizer. Then, attach a piece of fabric underneath the hoop — this will form the backside of the placemat.

Step 4:
Ensure the result looks like the picture provided in the instructions.

Step 5:
Return the hoop to the machine and continue stitching. The machine will embroider the outline, which should match the color of your fabric.

Step 6:
Once again, remove the hoop from the machine and carefully trim the fabric along the outline on both sides.

Step 7:
Return the hoop and complete the embroidery. After finishing, remove any excess stabilizer.

Final Step:
Your plate mat is ready!

This instruction is suitable for all our placemats and plate mats.

The Vintage Village Mega Plate Mat embroidery design is created using ITH (In The Hoop) technique, meaning the entire process of making the item happens directly in the embroidery hoop. This simplifies the creation of complex items such as plate mats, as it eliminates the need for additional hand sewing. The design is perfect for use on various home textiles and will make a great addition to your table setting.

For the Vintage Village Mega Plate Mat design, it’s best to use medium-weight fabrics, such as linen weighing about 160 g/m². For the best result, we recommend using a medium-weight tear-away stabilizer, such as Vlieseline Stickvlies or Stitch-N-Tear, or any similar stabilizer that provides good support and prevents fabric movement during stitching. Using temporary adhesive spray to fix the stabilizer and fabric together will help maintain the clarity of the embroidery and avoid shifting.

This design can be used for both personal and commercial purposes, making it an excellent choice for those looking for beautiful and practical ideas for sale.
