Design: Lightweight or medium density designs with open embroidery areas. So this fabric is light and thin, dense designs with full decking are not suitable for this type of embroidery.

Stabilizer: The medium-density cut-away stabilizer will perfectly cope with this task. If you decide to use a tear-away stabilizer, be sure to test the embroidery. Make sure that this does not lead to a puckering of the fabric or wrinkling of the embroidery.

Needle: If you use a cut-away stabilizer, you can embroider with a usual embroidery needle. If you use tear-away stabilizer, it is better to take a pointed needle #75/11. It will make smaller holes in the stabilizer, thanks to its sharp tip. This will prevent the shifting or miss-aligned of the stitches on the fabric.

Hooping: Hoop the fabric together with the stabilizer.

Yarn: It is preferable to use a polyester threads.
