Sometimes embroidery on a T-shirt becomes a problem. And the main issues arise with the fabric hooping. Why many people think that it is impossible to do this without breaking the seams. That's why reaching to these embroidery projects, embroiderers begin to retreat.

It is very easy to apply embroidery on a T-shirt. This process does not require special technologies, a pile of auxiliary materials. The main thing you need to start with is to wash and dry the T-shirt. Otherwise, the fabric after the first washing will shrink with embroidery.

Start with the layout of the design. This will help to evenly place the design, for example, exactly in the center. To do this, transfer the marks from the printout onto the fabric using an air-erase pen.

Then stabilize the fabric. Some embroiderers recommend taking two layers of cut-away stabilizer. Do not do this ever! The stabilizer should be used in one layer. The most important thing is to choose the right combination of a stabilizer and a specific tissue. If we talk about T-shirts, we use a cut-away/ tear-away stabilizer, and at the top is a self-adhesive water-soluble non-woven Solufix needed. If you do not have Solufix use a water-soluble film stabilizer. And so, proceed to the hooping. To easily handle this, follow the instructions below:

1. Spread the T-shirt on the work surface.

2. Take a hoop of the appropriate size. Attach them to the T-shirt. Check that the marks of the axes lines on the T-shirt and the embroidery frame converge in the same place.

3. Tighten the screw. Try not to overtighten the fabric.
