The popularity of appliqués in machine embroidery is quite reasonable. It helps to come up with incredible and original options for decorating, combining different textures and colors. Applique machine embroidery design Wild Bear is a bright proof of that. It will allow you to decorate a lot of interesting things, ranging from scarves to stylish backpacks and bombers.
Use this applique to decorate your wardrobe or interior items. Pillows near the fireplace and a plaid will be brighter and get the Scottish style and coloring. Denim jackets and shirts decorated with this design will give your image some special chic. Moreover, such "brutal" variant of applique will be great for jackets, vest and other outerwear decoration.
The versatility of this design allows you to use it in differents ways.
Fabric
As a fabric for the application, we recommend using a tartan. Its bright checkered ornaments add a special gloss to embroidered objects.
For reference: Tartan is a soft, fleece fabric, obtained from cotton, wool fibers. It is used for sewing national Scottish clothing. Drawing in a large cell is considered traditional for such a fabric.
Using a tartan for a Wild Bear appliqué and decorating your home decor will allow you to create a stylish and bright interior in a country style. To do this, use the red and green colors.
Stabilization
As a stabilizer, we recommend using a Madeira Cotton Stable Tear Away Stabilizer, gluing with a hot iron, or a self-adhesive Madeira Cotton Fix Tear Away Stabilizer.
Instruction:
1. Using an air-erase pen and a printed template, mark up the design at the place where the appliqué will be.
2. Glue the tear-away stabilizer to the fabric on the wrong side.
3. Hoop the fabric together with the stabilizer.
4. Put it into the embroidery machine.
5. Wait for the machine to embroider the first contour and stop it.
6. Place the appliqué fabric on top.
7. Continue to embroider. When the machine sews the second circuit, i.e., sews a piece of fabric onto the product, stop it again.
8. Cut the excess fabric close to the edge.
9. Continue embroidering to the end.
10. Tear off the excess stabilizer.
