We provide the design in three sizes. Also we include the design of the napkin ring in the set. This ring is made with the using of the FSL technique (free standing lace). This means that you need to embroider it on a water-soluble stabilizer. After you have finished embroidering, remove the stabilizer and dissolve the embroidery in water. Dry, iron if necessary. The ring is ready.

You will need:

~ Fabric for patches. If you do not have it, you can use felt.

~ Cut-away or tear-away stabilizer.

~ Temporary spray adhesive.

~ Heat-away film for patches. It allows you to iron a patch to the fabric without sewing.

~ Hoop the fabric for patches. Then use a temporary spray adhesive to glue the tear-away or cut-away stabilizer on the wrong size.

~ Embroider the design

~ Delete the excess stabilizer.

~ Cut the embroidery design retreating 1/9 â€“ 1/12 Inches.

Heat-away film for patches. How to attach the patch using it?

~ Cut a piece of heat-away film according to the size of your stripe or you can cut a bit bigger cloth. Take a good look at this film. Itâ€™s one side is shine, and the other is matte. Apply the heat-away film with the shine side to the wrong side of the patches.

~ It is best to put a patch with a heat-away film on some backing: the wrong side of the bottom and then the film with the matte side up.

~ Heat the iron to the maximum temperature and begin to iron. Pay a special attention to corners. Do not be afraid to press hard on the iron for better handling. After about a minute heat-away film will stick to patch.

~ Cut off any excess film protruding from the edges of the patch. Do it very accurately. The finish result depends on this process.

~ Now you can glue the patch to the product. Remove the protective layer of paper. It allows not stick the patch to the iron. Put the patch on the right place where you want to stick it. Carefully iron the patch. In a minute it will stick to the right place.

IMPORTANT: Depending on the type of fabric of your product, adjust the temperature of the iron. In no case do not attempt to glue the patch to silk or wool at the maximum temperature.
