Machine Embroidery Designs Funny dancing penguins

Funny dancing penguins is a set of 5 designs for machine embroidery. They are suitable for children and adults with good sense of humor and open nature.

Penguins are very unusual birds: they absolutely cannot fly, but swim and dive well. In wildlife penguins don’t dance, of course, but they love sliding on snow. The fact is that these heavy birds fall into the soft melting snow, so to move faster they are forced to fall on belly and slide, pushing forward with wings and legs.

Penguins look quite awkward on land. Short legs and fixed knee joints make them walk waddling from foot to foot. But in water they are so graceful! Swimming penguins look like flying birds or like dolphins, especially when they jump out of the water. These birds spend half of their life in the ocean, going as far as 20 and more kilometers every day. They don’t need to go ashore if they are thirsty: penguins can drink salty sea water. Their body excretes extra salt through the beak.

The one who likes diving the most is Southern rockhopper penguin. This bird enjoys diving from rocks – it is much more fun than just going into the water. But the winner of deep sea diving is the large emperor penguin. It can reach a depth of more than 500 meters.

In wildlife these birds seem to have no special fear of humans and are easy to approach people they meet. Some think they might take people for big and a little strange penguins, but it is more probable the reason is that they have no land predators.

For their «sociability» and «cordiality» penguins have become positive, good characters in books and films, beloved by children and adults.

Machine embroidery designs Funny dancing penguins can be embroidered on a baby suit or a dress. These birds are good for hats and rucksacks. If you are already well over 10 years, indulge in a little mischief – being embroidered on the inside pocket of a jacket, funny penguin will cheer up the day!
