Embroidering on sweatshirts suggests making several steps.

Preparing the fabric and choosing the placement.

Usually, the fabric is made of cotton or a blend of cotton and polyester. Prewash will prevent the material shrinkage and wrinkling of the embroidery. Make sure that the colors of the fabric don’t shed and won’t stain the threads of embroidery. Arrange the template of Machine Embroidery Design Garden Daisies on the sweatshirt anywhere it looks good for you. If the front part of the item is chosen for stitching, step away three inches down from the neckline. For small or child size of the sweatshirt retreat two and a half inches, also use the smaller size of the Machine Embroidery Design Garden Daisies. Apply the full-size printout right between the sleeve eves to mark the horizontal and vertical ends and the central point.

Choosing and applying the stabilizer.

Tear off stabilizers are not recommended for the usage on the items that are supposed to be worn and washed a lot. Such stabilizers disintegrate eventually causing dimpling of the fabric. Cut away stabilizers don’t degrade over time and if used for embroidering on the sweatshirts, make a solid foundation that supports the fabric and the threads of the embroidery continuously. To apply the stabilizer, turn your sweatshirt inside out. Spay Temporary Adhesive spray on the needed segment of stabilizer for better fixation and impose it on the part you’ve chosen for stitching.

Hooping the material and embroidering on the sweatshirts.

After the stabilizer is fixed, turn your item to the right side. Move the out part of the hoop inside. Adjust inner hoop, mind the need to line the marks you made on the fabric with those on your hoop. Circumvent the hoop with leftover fabric so that it won’t get stitched on during the process. It’s convenient to fix the extra fabric with clips to keep it safely away. Hoops leave marks on the soft fabrics after removing. It is easy to get rid of them by washing or steaming. When the design is stitched, cut the leftovers of stabilizer away. Leave the half inches of the stabilizer around the design. The stabilizer material might feel stiff at first, but it softens after a wash or two.
